Aeroschools State Aerobics Championships
On Thursday 28 July, the Buckley House Aerobics team ventured out to the Diamond Creek Stadium to compete in the 2022 Aeroschools State Aerobics Championships. Our 25-member team had been eagerly awaiting this day after commencing training in February and training for over five months to prepare for the event.
Members of the team all got their chance on the stage throughout the day and did a wonderful job. Our team ranged from girls in Years 2-5 who performed in either a pair or a trio. The team is primarily made up of girls in Years 2 and 3.
Congratulations must go to Ella and Annalise from Years 4 and 5 who did an amazing job in their section to qualify for the National Championships in Queensland in September!
At the end of another big Aerobics year, as the Team manager, I can’t thank all involved enough for the effort that has been put in. The biggest thank You must go to all our coaches Brooke, Cassia, Michaela and Megan as well as our program coordinator Alice from MGS. Further thanks must go to our participants and their families for all the time and effort they have put in over the past five months. I hope it is the start of something great for many of the girls and their involvement in the Buckley House Aerobics team in the years to come.
