A Touch of Formal
Despite the postponement of The Ridgeway Campus Year 12 Formal, students still got the opportunity to celebrate with their friends and teachers at school on the day that the formal was due to be held. The Class of 2020 were treated to a special event on campus, a casual clothes day with ‘A Touch of Formal’ on Friday 5 June. Not only did our Year 12 students get into the spirit of things but it was also wonderful to see teachers specially dressed up in their formal attire for the occasion.
The highlight of the day was the special commemorative gift that was presented to our Year 12s, made possible by a generous contribution from the Ladies’ Association and the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians’ Association. The gift of a special #isograds felt pennant was much appreciated and will be cherished for many years to come. A big thank you to our wonderful staff at The Ridgeway Campus for thinking outside the box and coming together to create such a special day to mark this very important milestone.
Plenty Campus Year 12 students will be having an Isolation Pyjama themed Casual Dress Day for all Year 12 students on Friday 19 June to celebrate and recognise their wonderful efforts with home-based learning. Their commemorative #isograds pennants will be presented on this special day.
We are so proud of how the Class of 2020 has stepped up during these challenging times, despite the disruptions to their final year caused by COVID-19. The whole school community has worked together to make the best of this unique situation. This is a reflection of a strong community, of teachers, parents and students, together maintaining a single focus of providing the best for our students.
