Tigers Father-Son Excitement

Ivanhoe Grammar School Year 12 student Patrick Naish has Richmond fans excited for a possible Father-Son selection in 2018.

Son of Tigers forward Chris Naish, who played 143 games for the club between 1990 and 1997, Patrick played a key defensive role in the Vic Metro’s Under 18s championship on Wednesday where the team claimed back-to-back titles. Patrick dominated at half back with 26 disposals and five tackles, fortifying predictions of his potential as a first round draft pick.

Patrick has played football at the School since Year 7 and was selected last year to play on the Senior Representative Football Team. He has had a particularly good season in the Seniors this year, singled out every week as being among the best on ground. Outside school, Patrick plays for the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup Squad and in the aforementioned Vic Metro Under 18s. In both teams, Patrick plays alongisde fellow Ivanhoe Grammar School student and promising AFL hopeful, Max Dreher.
