Plenty Primary students in Victorian Youth Theatre

Two brothers from Plenty Primary have recently performed with the Victorian Youth Theatre!

At the end of Term 2, Sachin (Year 6) and Senith (Year 4) performed in Victorian Youth Theatre’s production of ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ in the Union Theatre at The University of Melbourne.

At the start of the year, Sachin was selected to move up to a more challenging level of performance and landed a principal role, while younger brother Senith was selected in a supporting role. Both have been involved in the Victorian Youth Theatre for the past three years and are excited to audition for the next two productions for Semester 2 – The Wind in the Willows and The Wizard of Oz.

When asked about their favourite aspects of performing on stage, Sachin answered that he enjoys the special effects that create a mood for the audience. Senith loves all aspects of acting out a different character and reciting all of his lines.

Sachin and Senith are also part of Plenty Prmary’s production of Seussical Junior which will be performed at the end of this month.
