Night of Notables
The Night of Notables was held on Wednesday 7 December in the Middle Years Centre.
The night was a terrific celebration of what Year 8 students can achieve through the support of dedicated staff in a four week period. The Year 8 students were thoroughly engaging in bringing their notables to life on the night and really enjoyed the chance to dress-up and put on a grand parade.
The evening provided them with the opportunity to showcase their knowledge in a wonderfully positive and supportive environment and it was evident that they knew their characters inside out.
The feedback from families and guests across the evening was glowingly positive. One parent said that she had initially intended to visit every student, but was so engaged by the students’ responses that she found it hard to ‘move on’ and only got around to half of the cohort.
An event as grand as this is only possible with the support of the dedicated teams of people behind the scenes. Many thanks to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the night such a success.
