National Youth Science Forum

Year 11 students Scott Chandrasiri and Aaron Luckman have both been selected to attend the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) at the Australian National University in Canberra over the summer holidays.

The National Youth Science Forum is a 12 day residential program for students entering into Year 12 who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). The NYSF program aims to show participants the wide variety of study and career options in stemfields.

The students were selected from a number of applicants from the Rotary Organisation after a lengthy series of written applications and interviews. Both students have accepted the offer and are eager to get involved with all aspects of the forum. They will be attending a Reception hosted by the Governor of Victoria in October.
