Interschool’s Show Jumping Competition

On Friday 17 February the Interschool’s Show Jumping competition was held at Ayr Hill Equestrian Park. This was the first round of the Victorian Interschool Show Jumping Team Championships. Although the School was represented by a team of just seven riders they performed really well and easily won the team trophy for the day.

Interschool Show Jumping was formed in 2008 to promote the sport of Interschool Show Jumping on courses designed by professionals at safe, purpose-built venues. Now, over 500 riders representing over 80 schools participate in ISJ’s four annual shows. See the Individual results below:

Jessica Grant: Year 12

Blackall Park Surprise – 1st in the Stars (1.25m) Two phase and 3rd in the Grandprix. Reserve champion

Blackall Park Roxy – 1st in the intermediate (1.05m) and grand Prix and Overall Champion.

Cassidy Neubauer: Year 11

Running Waters Lleu Llaw – in the progressive (95cm) Two Phase 2nd and 2nd Grand prix. Champion overall.

Zali Vanderwert: Year 8

Bailey – Encourage (75cm) Two phase 15th (approx) and 2nd in the Grand prix 3rd Overall

Ella Barker: Year 8

Viewmont Oscar – Encourage (75cm) Two phase 9th and 5th in the Grand prix 6th Overall

Clancy Grant – Year 9

Skyhi Ripple Effect – 3rd in the Advanced (1.15m)

RSB Daisy (first competition together) in the intermediate (1.05cm)

Porridge in the improvers (85cm)

Miranda Darby, (Year 7, first competition for Ivanhoe Grammar School)

Africa Day – in the progressive (95cm) 1st in the grand prix

Edward Darby: Year 9

Moon Day – in the intermediate (1.05cm)

TAD – 6th in the intermediate (1.05cm)
