The tradition of excellence continues
The School is very proud of the achievements of its International Students over many years and 2009 was no exception. In 2009, twenty-nine of the thirty International Students in Year 12 made applications to Victorian universities.
Twenty-seven of these received initial offers and the other two successfully applied to pre-tertiary courses. Of those applying to Victorian universities, 28% received offers from RMIT University. Monash University and The University of Melbourne each offered places to 24% of the students. Offers for their first and second preferences were received by 66% of the students.
Our top International Student received an ENTER score of 99.3 (the maximum score possible is 99.95) and received an offer for Medicine/Surgery from Monash University. The second student (who studied the IB), received an ENTER score of 97.5 and was offered Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne.
