Ivanhoe Grammar School has been educating young people since 1915, and while much has changed since our humble beginnings at St James' Church, Ivanhoe, the philosophy of our founding Headmaster, The Reverend Sydney Buckley, is still at the core of our practices. He believed that academic excellence and the development of individual character were paramount and encouraged a strong ethos of service to others.

On Friday 24 April ANZAC services were conducted at both Ivanhoe and Plenty Campus to commemorate ANZAC Day.
On Wednesday 22 April our Year 8 students from Plenty Campus and The Ridgeway Campus enjoyed the High Resolves Global Citizenship Program, undertaking a variety of interactive modules throughout the day.
From Wednesday 29 April to Friday 1 May the VCE Theatre Studies will be presenting ‘Dancing at Lughnasa’ by Brian Friels.
A group of Ivanhoe students have volunteered their time at a community market to assist the OrphFund charity
On Tuesday 21 April, the Ivanhoe Rugby teams were presented with their player jerseys for the upcoming winter sports season.
The Plenty Campus musical production of Guys and Dolls was a wonderful success and a number of staff members are still humming away to the songs.
